Thelma attended the Church of God, headquartered out of Anderson, IN, throughout her life. Bob and Thelma moved to Indianapolis from Lexington, Kentucky in 1947. Thelma wanted to be a missionary and/or minister. Not one day went by that she wasn't praying, witnessing, or expressing her love for Jesus and the church. She really liked people and having friends and family over to visit. Thelma was a good mother, strong willed, honest and told you exactly what she thought. She would tease everyone and was a happy and enthusiastic person, always ready to help people. Thelma retired from Western Electric. Some family information: father born in Woodford City, KY, died in Lexington, KY; mother born in Fleming City, KY, died in Lexington, KY; brother Grover born in Lexington, KY, died W.W.II in France; Warren born in Lexington, KY, died in Rock Island, IL; James died in CA; sister Mary died in Chicago, IL she was Grover's twin; Delma born in Nicholasville, KY, died in Lexington, KY she was Thelma's fraternal twin.
