Arthur Haywood Barton was born in New Brunswick, Canada. He came to the United States and became a naturalized citizen when he was a young man. He went to work for Bridgeport Brass and worked there 46 years. He was proud of the fact that he only missed 2 days work in all that time and was never late. Arthur was endowed with a great deal of wisdom. He loved to hunt, fish and garden. He had a beautiful garden each year. Art, as he was known, had 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. Art and Winifred C. Barton were married for 49 years. |
