| Ernest was born in Martinsville, Indiana on August 5, 1917 to Frank & Acie Coffman Mulder. He married Esther Whitaker on September 24, 1942. They have two children, Ernest Michael & LaDonna Jean. Ernest worked most of his adult life at Adams Clay Products. He entered the Army in 1942 and was first stationed at Camp White, Ore. He received a medical discharge in August of 1943. After his service discharge he worked at Camp Atterbury, training P.O.W. He suffered a stroke in 1977 and was not able to work again. He loved to ride his motor sierra downtown and have coffee with friends and then ride up Mulberry St. where there were lots of children. They looked forward to him coming for he always brought them something. (Fruit or nickels) |

Ernie had a wonderful sense of humor. We had lots of good times.
