| Gertrude was a housewife all her life. She graduated from Mt. Comfort High School in 1926. She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Cumberland. She played basket ball on the girls basket ball team in high school. Gertrude raised chickens and sold eggs. She loved to work in her garden. |
