Dick was a man who loved family gatherings. He was happiest when his children and grandchildren were all together for a big meal. He loved being outdoors whether it was fishing or camping. He was the 4th child of 7. He married Velma L. White in 1959, fathered 4 children and had 13 grandchildren. He retired from Vibromatic Inc. in 1995. He was hard working at work and home, He turned a 3 room house into 8 rooms and built a garage himself. He was enlisted in the U.S. Army for 4 yrs. and spent time overseas. He was well liked by everyone who knew him. He was very patient and had a wonderful laugh. You could always find him watching a sporting event on Sunday afternoons yelling at the TV with a plate of snacks next to him. |
