Donald flew in the U.S. Air Force 389th Bomb Group, in Hethel, England from 1943-1945. He was very dedicated to his family and friends, and was very proud of his children. He loved to travel. Donald is deeply missed. |
Don was very proud of his military service. This was the style of plane he flew during the war.
During his military career Don met and married the love of his life, Margaret. She set her cap for him the moment he entered that U.S.O. dance.
The friendships and loves formed during that time never faded, getting together every year to remember those times and experiences.
And time did march on and so did the love. Don and Margaret on their 50th wedding anniversary. Proud of every year.
Don's handsome son and beautiful daughter-in-law, Alan and Ellyn and their dog, Morgan.
Like his dad, Alan loved to travel with his son. Don's son and grandson enjoy the day and the history.
Don's grandson Robert, taking advantage of all life has...just like grandpa Don.
Don's lovely daughter Carol. He was so glad to have her home.
Don's special friends the Berakis. Friends were always remembered and cherished no matter where in the world they had traveled from.
