| My mother Dorothy Shaw was a very special lady. She was always willing to help a family member, friend, or neighbor in times if need. Even though she did not finish high school, my mother had a world of wisdom. She was always praised in her jobs of employment as a very hard and dedicated worker. She loved to shop for clothes and bargains. We loved to watch the old time night soaps like Dallas and Knot's Landing together. My mother always made sure we had enjoyable birthdays and Christmas's. In my heart, I know God gave her the golden wings she truly deserved because she has always been a special angel to me. My mother was also my very best friend. Her granddaughter Amber cherishes all of the stories that are told to her about her grandmother. She will always have a special place in her other four grandchildren's heart too. |
