Patricia was born on January 29, 1959 in Somerset, Kentucky to Gerald and Geraldine Stepp. She was given to Patsy Arlene Stepp. We are not sure when her family moved to Indianapolis, we met Patricia and her biological mother (Geraldine) through mutual friends Larry and Rita Searless. Joe and Rosemary Jones adopted Patricia in 1962. She was baptized Patricia Anne Jones, September 9, 1962 at St. Malachy Catholic Church, Brownsburg, Indiana by Fr. William Blackwel. Her sponsor's were Margaret Jones (paternal aunt) and Lawrence F. Gabbert (maternal uncle). She received Holy Eucharist on May 31, 1969 at Nativity Catholic Church, Wanamaker, Indiana. Her Confirmation was October 30, 1975 at Little Flower Catholic Church, Indianapolis, Indiana. She took the name of Rose and her sponsor was Frances Starneri. She attended Mrs. Fredericks Kindergarten in 1965. She also attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended Franklin Township School and Warren Township School. She attended Noble Workshop in the greenhouse. She was very good with plants.

She was called Patty but as she grew older into her forties, she preferred Patricia. She was a joyful fun loving person, very social and also had a gift of wisdom. She loved to dance, bowling, going to the movies and being with her friends and family. She also belonged to a card club with her friends. She always liked to shake hands with the priest after mass. I think she loved weddings the most because she could dance her heart out and she did every dance. "Smile". She was truly a gift from God and we will miss her very much. People in her close family were her father Joe and her mother Rosemary her brother Gregory David Jones and her niece Jessica Marie Jones and her nephew Mason Ellyot Jones and also her godson Casey Allen Vogedes.
