He was a Father in the greatest sense of the word for he loved his family from the bottom of his heart and with all his being and he showed his love for us each and every day.

Joe Jacobs liked to cook after he retired. He would fix muffins and give them to those who came in. He loved animals and his cat Molly.

Joe Jacobs was a quiet man and somewhat of a private person. Those who loved him the most knew little of his fears, hurts, desires, and dreams, for his concern was for their fears, hurts, desires and dreams.

Joe Jacobs was a man who loved fishing and camping and the outdoors. He loved his garden with its tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini and lettuce. He loved to clean his cars and mow the grass and ride his bike.

Joe Jacobs was a man who always had a smile on his face, He loved to read and work his daily crossword puzzle. He was concerned about is health and health of his family. He always had a remedy for any ailment you might have.

Joe Jacobs was a strong man, strong in character, and his physical body, as he believed in eating the right things and exercising. He preached to any of his kids that would listen on the dangers of smoking and not taking care of your body.

These are just a few of the precious memories that hose who loved and adored the man, Joe Jacobs hold in our hearts. No book could hold al we learned and all that he taught us in life.

One More Thing
By Jamaica Rose Slicer

If I could say just one more thing,
I'd tell you all you0ve done
How one soft touch of your strong hand
Grasps everything and everyone.

If I could say just one more thing,
I'd tell you that I care
For you have always cared for me,
No matter what; no matter where.

If I could say just one more thing,
I'd tell you that you're brave
You'll never know the lives you've touched,
All you've done, and all you gave.
If I could say just one more thing,
I would tell you how,
Everyone is loving you,
And breathing for you know.
