| Melissa Lou Lyon (Missy), 11, passed away October 15, 1983, at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana of Reyes Syndrome. Melissa was born September 3, 1973 in Indianapolis, Indiana to John Edward Lyon and Sharon Baker Lyon. Although Missy had a short lifetime she enjoyed Girl Scouts, playing softball and school activities. She loved her family very much.She was survived be her father John E. Lyon and her mother Sharon B. Lyon, brother Robert B Lyon and her step-brother William J. Stroup. Also surviving are her maternal grandmother, Lois Fluharty and her paternal grandmother Ferne Lyon Kittrell, also her special Uncle and Aunt Stanley and Rita Payne.Her father passed away in 1994.Her Grandmother Kittrell passed away in 2001. |
