| John M. Hoffman was born May 28, 1942. He attended Arsenal Technical High School and was #2 in the class of 1960. His father died after he saw his first report card with all A's.He went to Purdue but we got tired of travel between W. Lafayette and Bloomington so he transferred to IU.We were married after his graduation and he went to work in Data Processing for the State of Indiana.Most of our vacations were spent at Civil War sites. We toured Europe with a group from Symphonic Choir and sang several concerts at churches, castles, and San Maritz.We joined the Indianapolis Arts Chorale in 1991 and sang with them until Elise Marshall retired as Director.We were asked to join the Tech Alumni Board around 1990 and spent much of our spare time working with the files and making the newsletter. The award we received this year was for this work. |
