On Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, Helen (Sis) Bradshaw, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away at the age of 71, due to complications from cancer.

She was born June 18, 1933 in Ogden, Illinois, to John Saulmon Sr. and Clara Varvel. She was the first-born child of several siblings; John Saulmon Jr., Charles Saulmon, James Saulmon, Susie Abney, Larry Saulmon, MarshaSchwemer, Bill Saulmon and Herschel Servies Jr.

In 1935, the family moved to Lebanon, Indiana. On June 14, 1951 she married Robert Bradshaw where the family lived in Lebanon, Indiana for a short period of time before moving to Colfax, Indiana.

They were blessed with four children in their family: Cathy, Bob Jr., Tony and Mark.

In June 1978, Helen moved to Greenfield, Indiana and then to Indianapolis, Indiana where she and her partner in life, Gary Gramman, lived and worked until Helen's passing early Saturday morning.

During her life, Helen positively influenced family and friends in a deep emotional connection that those who knew her will never forget memories of her life.

Helen is survived by her partner in life, Gary, and her children, Cathy, Bob Jr., Tony and Mark, eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, Five brothers: John, James, Larry, Bill Saulmon and Herschel Servies, Jr. two sisters: Susie and Marsha.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Bradshaw; father John Saulmon Sr., mother Clara Servies, brother Charles Saulmon.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005 at 11am, in Flanner & Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center, where friends may call on Monday, Jan. 31, 2005 from 4 to 8 pm.
