| Kathryn was born in Solsberry, IN, the youngest of 8 children. She graduated from Martinsville High School in 1935. Her children were the main focus of her life. She supported her family working in factories. During W.W.II she worked for war effort at Allison's in Indianapolis, IN. In 1952 she began working at Sarkes Tarzian in Bloomington and later at RCA where she retired in 1977. She was very active in her church and was a member of Emmanuel Apostolic Church. Her 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren were a great joy to her. She loved to read. Kathryn was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. |

Kathryn, the youngest child of 8 to a Methodist Minister and his wife, was a beautiful, adorable baby.

Growing up, Kathryn looked up to her sister Bessie who was 6 yrs. older. They are posed here with their mother, Daisy.

At 16 yrs. old, Kathryn was well on her way to being a raving beauty as well as an excellent student.

On her wedding day, Kathryn stood in the gate of her parents farm as she smiled for the camera.

On a lovely summer day Kathryn and Earl gather their three young children, Tommy, Lloyd and Erlene in front of them.

Kathryn loved Christmas. Everyone came to her house and posed for the traditional photo. This was the last time before Tom's tragic death. Left to right: Tom, Bill, Lloyd. Seated: Kathryn and Erlene.

Kathryn loved to travel and went often with her children. This trip was to Disney World in Florida with Lloyd and his family.

Fall Foliage Parade Day was always the day for the whole clan to gather at Erlene's house on the parade route. Kathryn had a prime seat with her family. She loved it!

For Kathryn's 80th birthday the traditional dinner at Poe's was attended by Lloyd, Bill, Linda, Erlene and Keith. On her 75th birthday all 45 descendants suprised her at Poe's.
