| Marion C. Wilson Was born in Clarksburg, IN on Sept. 23, 1916 to Curtis and Nellie Wilson and went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 14, 2004. He was a wonderful husband to Kathryn Belle Craig whom he married on Sept. 25, 1937. In his own words they "were married 64 wonderful years." Mr. Wilson was a machinist for Allison's Detroit Diesel for 40 years, retiring in 1980. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Marion was a member of 7th & 8th Christian Church. He was a very loving father, father-in-law and grandfather and good Christian to everyone he met. He donated to many charities over the years, he felt he had so much and God had been so good to him and his family that he should share what he had with others. He is survived by his son, Michael Wilson; daughter, Melinda Douglass; son-in-law, George Douglass, whom he loved very much; grandchildren, Brian Wilson, Elica Talbot, Greg Douglass, Susanne Loehr and Mirantha Wilson; and great grandchildren, Therin and Caden. Marion was blessed with a long, happy life on this earth and with a family that loved him dearly and will miss him everyday. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 18 at Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 17 at the funeral home. |
