| Lester James Wessel, Sr., was always known as "Buddy". He was a good father and grandfather. He was a hard worker and loved to work on things. He had 9 brothers and 5 sisters; one was a twin to him. Buddy grew up in a 3-room house on Bradbury. His parents were John Daniel Wessel and Anna Hester Eggers Wessel. Buddy was married twice and divorced. His first marriage was to Kathryn Small. He adopted Kathryn's son Carlie and had 3 children, Christina, Lester Jr. and Sharon. His second marriage was to Deborah Kays and they had 2 children, Tonia and Sandra Wessel. Buddy retired from Hill & Griffith after 30 years of service. |
