| Ione "Lucky" Zody, 77, Indianapolis, passed away March 12, 2003 at her residence. Born in Mt. Pleasant, MI on April 3, 1925 to Roger & Eunitha Hudnut Gulick; who preceded her in death. She was employed by The Justus Co's. for 15 years as a receptionist, retiring in 2002. Previously, she was employed by RCA Record Club for many years. Ione was a past member of the Englewood Christian Church. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, March 17, with calling from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 16, at Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel, 5377 E. Washington St. She is survived by a son Roger W. (Patricia) Zody of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter Rosalyn (Robert) Gentry of New Palestine; sisters Lorraine Long of Brooklyn, NY & Rose Ann Donnelly of Brookston, FL; brothers Daryl Brown of Grand Ledge, MI, Hal H. Brown of Long Beach, CA; grandchildren Elizabeth Gentry, Suzanne, Sheri, Sarah, and Scott Zody; great-grandchildren Thomas, Tanner, Kassandra, and Kyle. She was preceded in death by her husband William A. Zody; two sisters & one brother. |
