Martha was her father's "boy". As a child she went by the name of "Buck". Her Dad traveled a lot; he sold farm machinery all through the Midwest. During one of those trips, Martha's father brought home a young soldier for dinner. He was Samuel Archino, and they married upon his return from WW2. The family lived in Pennsylvania from 1955-1965. They returned to Indianapolis in 1965 and 4 years later Sam died, barely age 51. Martha began a life alone at 49 years old. She worked as an office manager for 10 years in a doctor's office. In 1976 she married Omer H. Goodrich. They were married for 22 years and lived on N. Layman in Indianapolis. Martha lived in Florida the last year of her life. She was independent and truly enjoyed being a homemaker. She liked to sew and was a good cook. She tried her hand at bowling and golf through the years. |

Martha's father worked for B.F. Avery & Son out of Louisville, Kentucky. She was driving when she was about 10 years old. She is 18 here in 1938.

Martha had lots of friends and used to spend weekends at diffrent lakes. She is 22 years old here in 1942.

Martha and Sam had 24 years together. This is the house in Philadelphia, where they lived for 10 years.

This is Martha's 80th birthday. It was taken at Kathy's house in Oviedo, Florida on May 14, 2000. Her daughter, Ann is on the right. The pie is chocolate!
