| James Harry Bear was born to Omar C. Bear and May L. Walters Bear on October 25, 1950. He was the youngest of eight children.He was proud to serve his country in the United States Marine Corp for 2 tours in Vietnam, receiving several Medals of Honor, including the Purple Heart. Upon retuning to the Unites States, he resided in California with his wife, Donna, daughter Melanie. His son Roy soon followed.Jimmy passed away December 23, 1999 in California. He is laid to rest in the Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana. |
