Melvin was a dedicated family man, married for 50 years, and he raised 2 sons and a daughter that he dearly loved. He will be missed far more than the following message could ever say.
Many years have passed since your sweet face and smile we have seen. Our dearest Mel you were the most beautiful thing in the world to us. We miss you more each day. Life doesn't seem the same since you have gone away. But we cannot see or touch you, but you are always in our hearts. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I would walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. I have lost my soul companion a life linked with my own, and day by day I miss you more as I walk through life alone. When days and night are sad and lonely I hear you whisper Rose I will always be with you. Each time I see your picture you smile at me and say, don't cry I am in God's keeping we will meet again someday. There is no other who can compare to all you were and what we have shared. With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and saw you fade away. And although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay. Always in my heart Mel special you will be, but can you hear me when I say I love you? Can you hear me when I cry? I have so much to tell you and so much for you to see. So many questions and answers I will receive, but all I want to know is when I say I love you can you hear my cry? Rest in peace my love we will meet again someday.
Your love Rose |
