Mark Alan Brewer was born on October 15, 1955 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the oldest of four sons born to Courtland and Patsy Brewer.
As a young boy Mark attended Grace United Methodist Church. He sang with the Children's Choir.
His interests were in the Boy Scouts, bike riding and delivering newspapers. Mark graduated from Howe High School in 1974.
In 1977 while working at Mallory, Mark was witness to by a co-worker and received Jesus Christ as his Savior. Mark was baptized in 1978 at University Heights Baptist Church.
In 1981 Mark had the opportunity to visit Israel. It was a spiritual journey for him. Later on Mark attended Calvary Temple.
Mark enjoyed sports, especially baseball, basketball and football. He also liked stamp collecting.
In 1997 Mark met Grace Adams. Soon after he started attending First Church of the Nazarene. He was involved in the Singles Ministries there.
In 2001 Mark was diagnosed with cancer. He always had a good attitude and never lost faith. After he was anointed he said that Jesus Christ was the Son of the living God. His courage and faith should be an inspiration to all of us.
