| Mr. Jackson 'Mickey' Clements was born on September 27, 1923 to the late Effie and Hart Clements in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended the Indianapolis Public Schools. At the age of eighteen he served as a Calvary man in the US Army during World War 2 for four years.The late Reverend Albert Batts united him in Holy Matrimony to Mayme Brown on January 1, 1954; they were happily married for thirty-seven years. No children of their own were added to this union but they raised a niece, Rosa Scott to adulthood.Early in life he was employed by Acme-Evans (Easy Bake). He retired from Devington Realtors.At one time he joined Joshua Baptist Church. He enjoyed feeding the neighborhood pets. His family and friends will greatly miss him.Mr. Clements departed this life on Thursday August 15, 1991 at the age of 67 years, 11 months and 12 days. He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife, Mayme Clements; Rosa Scott, whom they reared, a host of nieces and nephews, two great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. The Lord's PrayerOur Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be they name. Thy kingdom come. They will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
