| Kenneth E. "Pete" Allen was born December 21, 1913 in Greensburg, Indiana. Pete was 1 of 7 children. Pete died in his home April 26, 1987. Pete was survived by his wife, Isabelle Hankins Wolfe Allen. Pete had 1 daughter Zita K. Allen and 1 Step-son Charles E. Wolfe. Pete had seven grandchildren.Pete was a WW2 veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and a member of the Moose Lodge.After WW2 Pete returned to Indianapolis where he and Isie lived. Pete became a barber and worked in the Broad Ripple area. Pete was knowledgeable in sports, racing and the usual "barber shop talk" during his working years. |
