Paul Leroy McCammon

Birth Date: 10/26/1942
Death Date: 2/6/2003
Floral Park Cemetery
Garden of Four Season, Lot 142B, Grave 3

Paul Leroy McCammon was born on Monday, October 26, 1942,In Sullivan, Indiana where he completed his formal education at Shortridge High School. God united Paul with his soul partner Lottie Mae Givens on October 28, 1963. Paul and Lottie were blessed with 4 children, Robert Leroy, Paula Kay, Tammy Marie and Mark Allen McCammon.

Paul followed in the footsteps of his father, Oscar Otto McCammon and became an Iron Worker. Paul retired from Iron Worker Local 22 after 33 years of dedicated service. He was a proud father, devoted loving husband, and a highly respected man by all who knew him.

God called Paul Leroy McCammon home "to dwell in the house of the Lord forever" (Psalms 23) on February 6, 2003. Paul passed while in his sleep at home, after praying and telling Lottie "I Love You". We will cherish his memories forever.

God saw you getting tired and cure was not to be;
So he put His arms around you and whispered "Come with Me".
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and saw you fade away;
Although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest;
God broke our hearts to prove He only takes the best.
It's lonesome here without you, we miss you more each day;
Life doesn't seem the same since you've gone away.
When days are sad and lonely and everything goes wrong,
We seem to hear you whisper , "Cheer up and carry on."
Each time we see your picture, you seem to smile and say,
"Don't cry, I'm in God's keeping, we'll meet again someday".

In Loving Memory
Of
Paul Leroy McCammon
