Jack
When Jack was a young man, Not that long ago, His blarney was as sure As an Irish rooster's crow. He'd chat with the Colleens, Whispering in jest. Hop up on a barstool And pound upon his chest.
Back when his juices flowed, His wind still blowed, And Sharps was not his beer
Back when his feet Weren't cold And his lap didn't fold And the state was not his career.
But those days are gone, Or at least it's said And he met the challenge of every talker. His Irish sails still fill with life, While he's greeted by his maker
Cause in Heaven there's things to do, And places to see, And mountains he must tame And maybe, just maybe with Jack and God's help One more national champion At Dear ol' Notre Dame.

Jack as a baby.
Striking young lad.
Hey, look at my gun.
The gangs all here.
My how my children have grown.
Did you hear the one about the gorilla and the Irishman in the pub?
So happy together.
A dream is realized, a proud father and grandfather.
