Edward Lewis Rohr

Birth Date: 10/10/1972
Death Date: 2/15/1994
Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery
Garden of Hope & Valor, Lot 139 D, Grave 1

Edward Rohr was born on October 10, 1972 at noon and died on the campus of IUPUI on February 15,1994 while pursuing his education. From the time he was small he had a passion for speed, sports and pushing the limits. He began his sports career in 2nd grade, taking up BMX racing. He even won a trophy for one race. He continued in track, basketball, soccer, flag football, golf, scuba diving and football. However football was his best sport and he excelled as quarterback both at Lawrence North and Springfield High School in Illinois. While in Illinois he also took top honors in Pole Vault in the City Championship. His friends and family were very precious to him and he loved them all. He was also quite a "ladies man" with several serious relationships. He was greatly loved and we all feel his loss in his laughter and his smile. Ed was just sorting out his life and was continuing his education to prepare himself for a fruitful life as a beloved son, brother; husband and perhaps father later down the road. Ed excelled in everything he did because he was quite a perfectionist. We loved him and miss him everyday.
