| This tribute is in memory of our father Jess L. Kisner, Jr., and to help you know a little about him.Jess was the first child born of Jess Lee, age 25 and Susie Etta Fromer Kisner, age 23 on February 22, 1925. The original spelling of his last name on his Certificate of Birth is Kistner. Sisters Carol Alice, Sue Ann, Peggy, who died at birth followed him, and a half-brother Donald Roy Kisner.He served in the US Army during World War II.Jess and his first wife, Florence Marie Sines were married January 21, 1945. The first child a boy, Steven Allen was born on September 24, 1945, a daughter Kathryn Lee, born on April 28, 1948 and another daughter Paula Sue, born on February 4, 1950, was given up for adoption and found again by her siblings on July 1, 1997.Jess and Florence divorced. Jess remarried and had another daughter, Susan.They were divorced a short time later.In 1972 Jess and Florence were reunited and remarried on June 25, 1973. They remained together until her death on March 9, 1997, three months shy of their 25th wedding anniversary. Jess died 1 year later on April 26, 1998. |
