For Agnes Genier, My Loving and Devoted Wife Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much This is how Agnes lives her life. These words describe her to a tee.
Agnes was loved deeply by not only her family, but also everyone who knew her. She put everyone before herself. She had a way to deal with any family problems that came up. What a wonderful life we had together raising our family. In my heart I now God called a very special person home.
We lived in a house in Fountain Square where we raised our eight children. That brings back many happy memories of 42 years in that home. With eight children, 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson, one could imagine the happiness and joy of the holidays. Agnes was always in her glory for Thanksgiving, Christmas and everyone's birthdays. It seemed like every time she gave birth to one of our children, our bond became stronger. She also worked on ceramics and did such wonderful projects. She tried so hard to overcome her illness and had a strong will to live.
Tom - If I were a poet or a writer, a hundred thousand words could never describe the love I have for you, or the love you had for your husband and children.
Vicki - old-fashioned wisdom for life, you gave us traditions. You created wonderful memories and taught unconditional love, your greatest gift to your family. You touched many lives with your kindness and compassion. You will be forever in our hearts.
Marsha - You were the best, most loving, caring and understanding mom ever. You gave me a great life filled with love and laughter and brothers and sisters. Miss you always.
Rita - You're gone but your face I still see. In all that I do, you are a part of me. I'm grateful we share the 31st of May. It will always be our own special day.
Theresa - Who can find a virtuous woman? Her price is far above rubies. Her children arise up and call her blessed. Proverbs: 31:10 and 28. Thank you God for giving us the best mother and grandma in the world.
Kathy - I pray you will always shine on me from heaven so that I can be half the mother that you were. Your loss is the greatest I have experienced. The comfort is what you left behind.
Donna - In my life I'll always see you soar above the sky. In my heart there will always be place for you, for all my life. I'll keep a part of you with me and everywhere I am you'll be.
David - Kitchen-tabling our hardships, listening to all guiding with her enduring, patient love. Making our lives special, holding us so dear. Selfless generosity always, never her first. Regretting my children's loss, not to have enjoyed her more. This is my mom. |
