| My mother as remembered by daughter, Patsy.She gave me life and I was with her as she passed from this earthly life into eternal.My earliest memories are of safety, love and contentment. As I grew older, she encouraged, guided and comforted me, always patient, helpful, caring and always believing in me. I remember her eyes twinkling with pride, saying, "there's my girl."Now that I'm older, I understand how well she loved me, worrying, making sacrifices to make me happy. I'm sure she had hopes, dreams, and longings of her own but she always put her family first. She always restored my faith, good things, and good people and helped me smile. She helped me find my way in life and was always there for me, no matter what.She lost four children and Dad. She had the inner strength and faith to go on. She lived with my husband and I for 7 years with failing health. She still inspired me, strengthen me and filled my days and heart with a love that only a mother can. |
