To our wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and best friend.

We love you and miss you dearly. As we look back at your wonderful inspired life, we can only give praises for the time you were in our lives. So many things that were important to you in your life, making sure all was well. Taking time out for all that needed doing, even forgetting yourself at times. How we used to wonder why you took time for other children when you had nine of your own. Even though there were nine children, it was usually someone else who lived with us. From a young age, you served in the church wherever needed. As a charter member of Little Bethel Baptist Church and later served Christian Community Baptist Church wherever needed. Always working n the culinary committee, pastor's aid, Sunday School teacher, summer ministries and prayer chain. As we look back, we know God could have taken you long ago for although you served in many areas of your life, your health always had your bags packed and on your way to the hospital. We would laugh and say "oh you're just packing your bags for another vacation", because you went so often.

But in between hospital trips, you managed to go through three or 4 ovens, a dozen of extra children, many elderly friends you cared for and so many late nights in the kitchen of love. As for whom you really was, well, let's see! Always working to keep everyone together in unity and harmony. For Ephesians 4:3 says, "Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." And being creative, using the talents you have to serve the Lord. 1 Timothy 4:14 says, "Neglect not the gift that is in thee."

Finally, what we loved the most was her compassion to express a deep feeling of love and concern for other's needs and difficulties. 1 Peter 3:8 says, "Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one for another." So we will miss our loved General, who so wonderfully lived her life even as a sickly woman to the fullest where she has left a legacy behind that will withstand the test of time.

To my wife, you're still here with me everyday. To our mother, we will try everyday to live diligently serving the Lord. To our grandmother, we miss your sweet secret love that will always be in our hearts.

With all our love,
The Wilson's
