| Benjamin was born in Eldorado, Illinois. He lived there until he joined the US Army. He was in WW2 serving in Germany and France after the war Benjamin came home and married his sweetheart, Mary E. Muenstermann. They moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where Benjamin worked for the Indianapolis School Board. In 1948 they moved to Clay City, Illinois where he worked for Yellow Transit Company. After three years they moved back to Indianapolis. Benjamin worked for Government Service Corp. until his retirement in 1979. Benjamin also had a little business on the side. He was a handyman, he was able to fix anything. |
