| She was born and raised in Indiana by her parents, Anna Bibb and Gilbert Abbott, but was raised by her step-father, Kenneth C. Pulse. She had spinal meningitis at the age of seven and spent 36 weeks in a cast. She worked for US Postal Service retiring in 1989. She was married 3 times to Robert Robinson, Harold Whitley and then she met her lifelong mate George R. Sanders "Rusty", whom she loved dearly. They are now together in heaven. She had ten children and five stepchildren and over 100 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Our mother's favorite time was Christmas. Everyone got together at Mom and Rusty's. Even though the house was small, she loved all of us being there, her hobby was playing Bingo. She was the sweetest person I know. She touched the lives of many people and will be remembered and missed by all who knew and loved her. |
