Like you all, I am deeply saddened, by the loss of my brother, Albert perhaps even more so as my cousin Kristine and I were there to witness the tragic sequence of events surrounding his demise. But as we gather here now in remembrance of Albert, we should not reflect on the horror of circumstances on how he passed, but instead reminisce on the happiness he brought us and feel the emotion of how Albert has touched and affected out lives. As my only brother and sibling, I will always remember the lifetime of assorted memories Albert's presence has provided. Foe example, a recent memory from this trip to San Francisco springs to mind. As my cousins and their loved ones moved about in a crowded nightclub, my brother and I wanted to take the rear of the line so we could watch over and protect the others in the group. Since Albert so strong willed, he insisted that he take the rear position to watch over us. I considered that an admirable trait from my younger brother, since he wanted the responsibility of taking care and monitoring the well-being and safety of the group. It is this type of kind and compassionate behavior that we always remember about Albert and will provide loving memories of when he was here. I believe that Albert is still here among us in spirit watching over us as a guardian angel, just like he was watching over us in that nightclub. He will always be with us in our minds and hearts, and because of that he still lives on and he still lives on the minds and bodies of strangers that are alive now from his gift of organ donations. Albert will always live as long as we keep him alive in our thoughts and actions.I truly miss my brother Albert but he will never e forgotten. It comforts me to know that he is in heaven and with God now, but still is here with us to watch over and protect us. I know he is listening now so I want to tell you Albert that I love you and that I thank you for all that you have done for me as well as the lives your presence has touched. I can only aspire to become as great of a man as you were when you were physically amongst us. You will be hearing from me many times before I pass from this place of existence and I know we will be together again someday. Until then, help guide us in our thoughts and prayers so we will do the right thing. Good-bye Albert and I love you.Paul Patrick Soliven
