Dad,I miss you very much. I think about you all the time, and so does mom. I still remember how I would go to your bike races. Grandpa is fixing up some of your old bikes for me. I look at old pictures of you. Sometimes I lay in bed thinking about you. The family has helped a lot with this tragic loss. I wish you were still here. I know someday that we will se each other again. But I don't know how long that could be, or if I can wait that long. I also wish that Lauren and Grant could have seen you and would have seen what a good person you were. There is one thing I don't understand. Why do bad things happen to good people?AustinBob,I still see you at several places on your bike, or unloading it from the car. I still see you at races, at Bloomington, Indianapolis, Martinsville, Mooresville, Ohio and several other places. I remember several times when you would call and say that you and Tom and Kevin and etc. were going for an easy training ride and ask if I wanted to go along. When I got to ride along like this, I felt like the kid who gotto go fishing. Sometimes I would be out ridding and stop and talk to someone, after they found out my name was Jordan, they would ask if I knew you. I would tell them you were my son. Now it was my time to brag about the speed trials or some of your races. Man, I have tears in my eyes as I write this. I can still see you on Barb and Fred's house throwing off shingles using your left hand, and the same on Mike and Sandy's house. It seemed that you were always there when someone needed help. Several mornings you woke me to start on the gazebo, before I was ready to get up. How I wish you could wake me again. I can see you with Austin; see you at your house getting ready to add the room or to put the pool in. There are so many fond memories. My hope and prayer now is that by the grace of God the whole family can be reunited again one day. Rest in Peace now Bob. Your Mom, Dad, and family miss you very much. I would also like to use this space to than Dan Daly and Threaded Rod and everyone else that is connected to the Bob Jordan Memorial Bike Race, and to all his friends and fellow bike riders. Thank You.Albert Jordan
