Henry Sr. was married to Stella for over 40 years. She is from West Virginia. That was after he left the Air Force. She still lives in the house in Indianapolis that they bought 33 years ago. There the back yard was connected to a large field that was at least foursquare blocks. Their children enjoyed playing in the field. The Good Year blimp used to land there around the time for the Indianapolis 500 Race.Buddy, he was called, enjoyed watching car racing. The other sport he liked to watch was boxing. As far as music, he liked country. In the Air Force, he worked as a repairman and machinist. Stationed in Alaska, he had stories of the cold and scary airplane travels through the mountains. He loved nature and I'm sure had seen some flora and fauna there. He was born in California and raise din Arkansas. He has relatives throughout the country. While living in Indianapolis, Henry Jr. and Candy were born. Small children were a joy to him. When they were in his lap is when you could see him smiling his biggest smile. His first born, Henry Jr. was called Little Buddy as a child. The next move was to St. Louis, where Robert was born. All three children loved the zoo. Watching seals was a favorite attraction. He worked in a large company in California where he helped make parts for the space shuttle. His work after the Air Force was a machinist often making airplane parts. There the family went to the beach, mountains and Yosemite National Park. His children enjoyed the year round warm weather. Those were good times with the family. Most vacations were spent visiting relatives in Michigan, West Virginia, Arkansas and California. Grandpa McFall had stories of Indians and math puzzles for the children while living in Arkansas and Michigan. After 4 years in California, he moved back to Indianapolis for the rest of his life. Candy and Henry Sr. still live in Indianapolis. His youngest son, Robert, lives in Illinois. He has two grandsons and one granddaughter. He loved to be outdoors, gardening or working on his cars or just walking around. He was a handy man and could almost fix anything. He was a good neighbor, always ready to lead a helping hand. He will be missed by many people.
