George Harold Noe

George Harold Noe was born in Fortville, Indiana. He graduated from Fortville High School. George answered the call of duty in World War 2 and served as a cook in the US Navy.In 1965 George married the love of his life, on his birthday, Norma Gwendolyn Reid, or "Ann" to all who knew her. George was a devoted family man and took great pride in his five children, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.George worked as a tool maker in the machine shop at Delco-Remy in Anderson, Indiana for 45 years. His interests included horses, camping at various state parks and square dancing with Ann. He was very active in the Little Eagle Christian Church, where he helped serve communion and served as an elder. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

George gave Cathy, his youngest daughter, a grand tour of the Battleship Texas.
