This picture was made in 1989 when Anna retired from BDP after 30 years of service as Secretary in the Sales Order Department. This picture best captures her likeness, her essence and shows her beautiful hands.

Anna was born November 19, 1934 in Monroe County, Tompkinsville, KY. She was called by her middle name "Maerene" by her family until she came to work in Indianapolis after graduating from high school.

Anna married Kenneth Crusenberry, July 27, 1963 in the home of her older sister, Gearlene Dill. They remained happily married for 38 years. Maerene treasured this pictured and always carried it in her billfold.

Anna and Kenneth, July 1995 in their backyard. Anna loved and took pride in her home. She and Kenneth often would take trips only to return earlier than expected because she would miss being home.

Anna enjoyed life and seem to have a way of drawing others to her. Strangers often came up to her to tell about their problems. She seem to have a natural gift of making people feel comfortable. her laughter was contagious and she was always fun to be around. This is the last known picture of Anna and Kenneth together.
