Richard "Dick' was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and had a twin brother, Robert. He was a good husband and father to his four sons. When any of the family needed help, he was in there to help with the job or offer any information he could. He worked hard at his job at Allison's Transmission. He received several awards for improving jobs for workers to run and received a letter of recognition and appreciation of a job well done from the Convention Center, where he worked part time for events. He also worked at the "500" mile Race Track in May and August as a guard. He had over 30 men working under him, and was liked by all. He never had a bad thing to say about any of these men."He is missed very much."
