Michael Allen Bigham, "provide and protect" was his mantra, whether he was being a son, husband, father or soldier. That was the kind of man he was. He worked hard and he played hard, never settling to be less than his best. Everyone knew Mike, or "Ham" as his friends called him. With a number of job changes and traveling all of the time, he was known throughout Indy and the surrounding area. He was never shy to let people know he was around. He was never reluctant to lend a helping hand. He will always be remembered in the hearts and minds of those who knew him. If we can look back and see all the love he gave, and try to duplicate it, this world would be a much better place. As his four-year-old niece noticed, "He didn't have a bad heart, he was a good man". Yes, sweetie, he was a good man, with only a sick heart. |
