| Mom was first and fore most a mother. She loved her children and grandchildren very much. For many years, she provided care to the elderly, who needed a home. For many of them she was the last person to give them a home and a human touch. She had a strong faith in the Catholic Church, the religion she was raised in, even though she wasn't a regular at mass. She embraced her faith and loved God, especially in her later years.We will miss mom very much and will never forget the lessons she taught us. She really liked to play poker and have her family visit her. "Mom, save us a place at the table, we'll be there to see you. Right now, you have the winning hand. The rest of us are still playing the game."You will always be a winner to us. |
