| Mr. Gordon Orlando Warfield, son of the late Charles and Emma Gordon Warfield, was born June 4, 1929 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Indianapolis Public School #87 and # 17.In June 1947, Gordon enlisted in the United States Navy. He received an honorable discharge in 1953.Gordon was employed with the United States Postal Service for thirty years, as both a mail handler and supervisor, retiring in 1984.Mr. Gordon Orlando Warfield departed this earthly life on Sunday, September 24, 2000 at the age of seventy years. He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Doris L. Gholston; his companion, Marcille Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.
