"Angie", beautiful of face and personality from birth. Became all things to many people who knew her and loved her. The nearly perfect child to mom and her, "Daddy". Angie was the hub of the family and her enormous circle of friends.

Even as a strong disciplinarian her love of children was so evident that she was adored, respected by her own children as well as everyone else she knew. Even after her departure from this world, her one-year-old nephew would go to her room to look for her.

Angie was honest and loyal, sometimes to fault and usually had all the right answers. That somehow became a magnetism drawing even strangers close to her. A crusader at heart, Angie was generous to the needy, protective of the weak and meek, strong in the face of adversity, she could bring fear to the heart of an oppressor.

Throughout her life, my "Baby Girl" maintained a strong sense of humor, even while gravely ill and in the emergency room.
She had the family, who were present laughing hysterically when the nurse came into the room, she must have thought we were all insane. Unfortunately, it took Angie's death to make me realize that she was my hero, not that I held anything back when she was alive. She always knew that I loved her and would do anything for her.

Many years ago a very wise person told me that most people go through their lives and could count their true friends on one hand and probably have some fingers left over. If you attended the services for our daughter, you will no doubt understand why we are so proud of her.

I have no words that would adequately describe the love her family and close friends felt for Angie except to say, she will never be forgotten and will be loved always and forever. Named "Angela" appropriately I am proud and privileged to have had her in my life and will see her often in her son, Michael and her daughter, Miya. Angie I love you.
