I was born May 23, 1906 in Washington, Indiana to Austin and Alice Mills. I had two brothers and one sister, whom I adored. I had many friends through out the years, some that I have forgotten and some that I will always remember. Some of my Favorite things were yellow cats, cleaning house, taking a drive, shopping, the color red and of course watching my stories on television. Some of my fondest memories were visiting my cousin in Noblesville, Indiana, or visiting my family in Hobart, Indiana.
I had three loves of my life, Tom Curtis, Jim Ferguson and Roy F. Laughlin; all played very important roles in my life. They were the fathers of my children, Bob Curtis, Bill Curtis, Betty Marie Curtis, Ivan Ferguson, his twin brother Irvin Ferguson, Mary Joleen Ferguson and Carolyn Laughlin Wheelington. They blessed me with grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
Unfortunately, I will never be able to meet my great great grandchildren here on earth but I will be waiting for our family reunion in the Heavens. I have no regrets; my life was lived to the fullest. I leave behind this legacy for my future generations to view, so they may see me and possibly get to know me through this.
Grandma you are an angel in my eyes. You sit higher than any one person could, in my heart. You have always been there to lend me a hand, to guide me. You have seen me through a lot in this world. You have played a very big role in raising me. You have all the respect I could possibly give anyone. You are a very strong woman, I only hope I will be half the woman you are. You are not only my grandma, but you are like my mother. Thank you, for all that you have taught me, and for all I am still learning from you. You are a beautiful person. You are the love of my heart, and that is where you will stay.
Until we meet again.
I Love You Grandma,
Always,Budnita |
