Joan Larison didn't know a stranger. She could talk to anyone from a big CEO to the rest room janitor with equal ease. She had many friends from next-door neighbors and church, to the factories where she worked, especially Link-Belt.She loved to take pictures and she had albums with hundreds of photos. She once got Archbishop Daniel M. Buechlein and Fr. Glen O'Conner to pose for her. Her most beloved priest was Rev. John Elford of St. Joseph Parrish, who passed away February 6, 1991 and is buried at Calvary Cemetery. She loved to drive her 1988 Lincoln Town Car, which was her 64th Birthday present. She went to Hawaii five times, once by TWA 747 Jetliner First Class. She loved children, especially grandchildren and was always having birthday parties. Holiday times were special too, with big dinners with the family present. She liked swimming, boating, water skiing and fishing. Pink was her favorite color. She loved animals and always had cats and dogs around he house. She had a large collection of dolls, which she shared with children. She was very close to her older sister, Maxine and her younger brother, Gene. She was the last survivor of a family of ten. She belonged to church groups and retiree groups, which had many activities, such as dinners and bus trips.Joan loved life and loved living and we all miss her so very much.Husband,Raymond.
