John was a warehouse foreman for Regal Wholesale Groceries for 35 years. He was born in Loogootee, Indiana. He liked to shoot pool and pich horseshoes. He loved the Vaudeville Barber Shop Quartet. His favorite songs, "That Old Gang of Mine" and "Oh, You Beautiful Doll". John had fond memories of his life in Loogootee with his grandparents, William A. Brown, Mary Bramble Brown, John Gootee and Theresa Carrico Gootee. Loogootee and Bramble Indiana are from his ancestors. |
