Sue Ann Durgan Rader was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 3, 1938. Sue grew up on the North side of Indianapolis as an only child. Her mother, Dorothy Durgan, was a homemaker and her dad, Frank Durgan, worked for Indiana National Bank as the Senior Vice President.
She spent much of her childhood days with her best friend Sara Samson Gerstle, her dog 'Smokie' and playing her accordion. Sue was a 1956 graduate of Shortridge High School and attended one year at Millikan University in Decatur, Illinois.
Sue married the man of her dreams, Kim L. Rader on June 21, 1958. Sue was a loving mother of two children, William Dirk and Kimberly Sue. The family enjoyed many summer vacations at the family cabin in Danbury, Wisconsin. She enjoyed fishing and her time outdoors on the lakes. She also enjoyed going on many cruises around the world with her husband. |
