She was a homemaker and a member of St. Monica Church. As a child, Lucille attended Witherspoon United Presbyterian Church. On November 15, 1951, she joined hands with John Kenneth Jorman, in Holy Matrimony at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. She also made a commitment to convert to Catholicism. She was a former member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church were she did volunteer work for St. Vincent DePauw. Mrs. Jorman was a 1946 graduate of Chrispus Attucks High School and attended Indiana University. She was an employee of Western Electric Corporation, was a substitute teacher in the Catholic Schools of Indianapolis and the Public Schools of Indianapolis. She also worked for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and the Indianapolis Parks Department. |
