| Born in Chicago, Illinois on March 27, 1907. Her family moved to Oregon for a while and then returned to Chicago. She worked as a secretary at Advance Machine Co, Chicago, IL. She married Melvin McCurdy Sipe in 1929. She bore four daughters, Elizabeth, Mary, Carol and Margaret. She worked for Douglas Aircraft during WW2 as a secretary. The family moved to Indianapolis. She became a widow in 1976. She moved to California in 1996. She passed away in 1998, just before her 91st birthday. She was returned for interment to Indianapolis. Margaret liked everyone and everyone liked her. She had a quick wit and she was greatly loved. She will be missed. |
