| Vernon was a very good husband and an excellent father. We were always going placing together, especially Kentucky to visit his family. We went to the Grand Ole Opry in 1953 and had a real good time. Our daughter Diana and her husband, took a special liking to country singer Bill Monroe at Bean Blossom, Indiana. |
