| Marilyn Marie (Meadors) Borgmann was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 27, 1929. She was the daughter of Roy O. and Etta M. (McNair) Meadors. Marilyn is survived by, two sisters, Dorothy (Meadors) Main and Patricia (Meadors) Alderete and two brothers, Richard and Robert Meadors. She graduated from Harper High School in Chicago in 1947. Upon graduation, she worked as a secretary for various insurance and medical companies. She married Robert A. Borgmann on September 9, 1956. They resided in Indianapolis, Indiana. They had three children, Denise (Borgmann) Volheim, Mark Borgmann and Yvonne (Borgmann) Woods. Marilyn began working for McClelland Elementary in 1967, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ, Order of Eastern Star Chapter #456, and Smyrna Shrine Guild. Marilyn enjoyed her family and had many friends. Marilyn and Bob traveled to many places in the United States. They went on cruises to the Caribbean, Hawaii and Alaska. Marilyn loved to play cards, work crossword puzzles, knit, read, work in the garden and play Nintendo. She was also a great cook and hostess. Marilyn was a wonderful person who loved everyone and everyone loved her. |
