| Mom /Mama was born in Benedict Mines, Virginia on October 5, 1929. She was married at the tender of age 16. She started a family at once. She was the mother of nine children and had a total of 22 pregnancies. Her life was mostly dedicated to taking care of husband Nolan and her children. She went to church, but never had time to donate any time to help. In 1961 Ruth and her family of eight children moved to Indiana. There she became pregnant with her last child Donald. She started working years later at Mechanics Laundry. She worked there until she was in a very bad accident. Later she was employed at Wayne Township Schools, were she retired from. After retiring her and Nolan did a lot of traveling and camping. Her favorite hobby was her many portraits of all her loved ones. |
